22 / 砂絵独特のグラデーションを画面いっぱいに表現しました。そして22というのは、友人から教えてもらった私のラッキーナンバーです。
Gradation patterns unique to sand paintings are fully expressed on the entire field. The title “22” refers to my lucky number given to me by a friend.
A.E.G.H / ある春の日のこと、突然私の頭に異変が起きました。能天気で楽天的な性格からは全く想像もできなかったことです。あまりにも衝撃的すぎて、これは絵にするしかないと思い描きました。私の頭にできたハゲです。
One spring day, a sudden change occurred on the top of my head. This was completely unexpected as I’m a carefree and optimistic person. It was such a shocking surprise that I knew I had to make a painting out of it so I made these two paintings. They are depicting the bald spot on my head!
